This recipe is perfect if you're trying to stay away from red meat, or if you just love salmon like I do. 

Salmon Cheesesteak

Ingredients

  • 10-12 oz Salmon filet

  • ½ yellow onion Julienned

  • ½ green bell pepper Julienned

  • Very Noicee AP Seasoning to taste

  • 1 ½ Tbsp. Olive oil or

  • 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter

  • Chihuahua cheese as needed

  • Hoagie bread

  • 1 ½ cup mayo

  • 4-5 garlic cloves minced

  • 1 cup of freshly shredded Parmesan Reggiano

  • 1 ½ tsp epis / green seasoning

Directions

    1. Add all the ingredients listed , stir well and set aside.

    1. Coat the salmon fillet with ½ tbsp. olive oil, then season with the Very Noicee AP Seasoning on both sides.

    2. Over medium high heat using a large skillet , add the leftover 1 tbsp. olive oil.

    3. Allow it to get hot, then add the salmon skin side down. Flip after about 4 minutes and cook for another 4 minutes.

    4. Lower the heat to medium low. Add the butter , and baste the salmon. Baste the salmon for 2 minutes and remove the salmon and set aside.

    5. In the same pan, bring the heat back up to medium high heat. Add the peppers, onions and season using the Very Noicee AP seasoning.

    6. Sauté until they begin to brown, add the shredded/chopped salmon. Sauté for another 2 minutes before lowering the heat to medium low.

    7. You can remove the salmon and peppers/onions to toast your hoagie in the same pan.

    8. After toasting your hoagie , add the salmon peppers/onions back to the pan. Add the cheese over it, cover, allow the cheese to melt.

    9. Assemble your sandwich using, your toasted hoagie, Garlic parm sauce. and the salmon cheesesteak. Then all you gotta do is eat baby!
